0001058: Vista file rights
The first run of amule works. On the next run, amule no longer hase rights to, C:\users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\amule\ . I have Confrmed that my user account, SYSTEM and Administrators, have full control to the folder, subfolder and all files. Right clicking on amule and runing as administrator dose not help. Giving Everyone full control dose not help. If I delete the amule folders and reextract aMule-2.1.3-MSW.zip it will not run for the first time. Creating new user accounts will allow me to run amule.
1.Extract aMule-2.1.3-MSW.zip to aney folder.
2.Run amule.exe
3.Exit amule
4.Run amule.exe. This time it dose not work on my computer

Vista support has to be the lowest feature request priority EVER.

Thanks for testing it, tho. I'll wait till eMule supports vista, first.

emule runs in vista. You need to change your file rights to your download folder or you download will go to the virtual store.

I have found a walk around for the error.

1.Crate a new user.
2.Login to new user.
3.Run amule. You will get the first time run message, do not click ok!
4.Move your temp folder to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\aMule\
5.Click ok. Your downloads will be found be amule.

Why are you useing C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\? Is vista forcing me to use it? Or are you intentionally useing it?
