Summary | 0001488: ipfilter.dat from emulepawcio.sourceforge.net can not be parsed |
Description | The ipfilter.dat file from emulepawcio.sourceforge.net has header lines (starting with #) that cause aMule to fail to parse the file. If I use a text editor to remove these header lines (from the file aMule stores in ~/Library/Application Support/aMule/ipfilter.dat) then aMule can successfully read and parse the file.
So it looks like the code that parses this file in aMule needs to be more paranoid about ignoring these header lines. |
Additional Information | 2009-02-08 10:32:29: Failed to load ipfilter.dat file '/Users/cwatts/Library/Application Support/aMule/ipfilter.dat', unknown format encountered.
then after I removed the header lines with a text editor:
2009-02-08 11:05:48: Loaded 262759 IP-ranges from '/Users/cwatts/Library/Application Support/aMule/ipfilter.dat'. 0 malformed lines were discarded. |
