I have the same problem with the aMule package from Ubuntu repositories.

It works fine with wxWidgets 2.8 (Unicode/Gtk2/Debug/GDB/wxDebugContext) and aMule CVS 2007-01-02.

I have another smaller issue with tabs in SearchDlg, though. I'll try and debug it later this week.

If you are unable to install wxWidgets 2.8, downgrade gtk+ to 2.8.

I'm using Gentoo with gtk+-2.8.19, wxGTK-2.6.3.3 and amule-2.1.3 and it not vave this problem.

This issue is caused because wxGTK <2.8.0 isn't compatible with gtk+-2.10

aMule 2.1.3 also crashes when you close any other tab... i.e.: on the search screen.

Upgrade wx to 2.8. Not aMule bug.
