Are you running aMule as root?
Cause if not, then aMule (indeed any program) should not be able to cause a system freeze. More likely, this is an issue with buggy drivers, or some other problem relating to the fact that you are using the unstable branch of Ubuntu.
So I'd suggest that you try reporting this problem to the Ubuntu bug-tracker.

No, no root only normal user. I didn't thought of this, i guess you are right i'll report this problem to ubuntu's bug tracker.
