I think a dialog is too obstrusive.
Currently we display a log line informing the user about downloading an already existing filea and you can see this log line in the lower left corner, where the last log line is shown.
Do you think this is sufficient or would an optional informational dialog really help to make the user aware of the already existing download? |

Do you want a dialog when you try to download a file that _is_currently_downloading_ or when you try to download a file that _has_already_been_downloaded_and_finished_ ? |

Despite I am monitoring this report I didn't get any mail about you added some comments/question.

I know. But my wish is not about "better" informing but allowing user to download it again.
Dialog for informing user is not useful at all.

Why would you download it again? aMule only ignores the download request when you are currently sharing it, so you still have it. |
