0001489: Tray icon show/hide behaviour is un-intuitive
While all other tray icons activate their left-click action on a single-click, aMule requires a double-click to show/hide the window.

Also, a growing number of applications use "If the window is shown but not active, activate it instead of hiding it" as their tray icon behavioural logic because it's more intuitive. aMule doesn't.

A double left-click on the tray icon does nothing for me.
aMule 9600 SVN on Xubuntu 8.10 (32 bit)

I completely agree. Also, it's not the expected behaviour as it's explained in the wiki: http://wiki.amule.org/index.php/Usage_Tray_icon [^]

+1

I agree with single click in stead of double click and other more intelligent behavious, like giving it focus when it isn't minimised and icon is clicked.

(Version 2.2.4-1ubuntu1.1 still has double click.)

Just a note that this currently can't be implemented, because of a wxWidgets restriction.

You can read more about that here: http://trac.wxwidgets.org/ticket/10973 [^]
