0000260: port 4662 on mac g4
Hello. I have a mac powerbook g4 running latest version of osx. I have Amule and always get low ID for some reason. I have opened various ports in my preferences firewall, but port 4662 seems to be blocked no matter what. I have also turned off the firewall on both the computer and the router. I have tried both wireless and wired, and still, the port seems to be blocked. I have also changed the port in amule preferences to several other ports and tried with firewalls turned off, but no luck. Anyone knows what might be the problem?

Try another port, your ISP might be messing with you.

Yes, your ISP most likely. You can change the port on preferences and forget about that port.

jonnyronny,

We can only give you some pointers. Try reading this and search for "lowid":
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/AMule_problems [^]

You can also try this script, while running aMule, to see if you TCP port is reachable:
http://uberpenguin.they-are.us/temp/testport/index.php? [^]

Also try to search for "lowid" in the forums:
http://www.amule.org/amule/index.php?sid= [^]

There are many people there that can help.
