0000266: amule stops starting
i have mandrake 10.1. I installed amule and libwxgtk-gtk2.
I used amule a lot of times, but then it crashed. I tried a few times to reinstall it (also removing ./amule) and reinstall libgtk but it never started. I don't know if it's important but when i try to start it for the first time after an installation it creates ./aMule dir but doesn't create amulesig.dat file.

Hi scipio,
have you try to install the Mandrake rpm? I'm installed this rpm without any problems.

Try to remove the ~/.eMule file too. Do:
rm -rf ~/.aMule
rm -f ~/.eMule

Then restart aMule.

Also, try using rc8 instead of rc7. Better still is a recent cvs tarball, it has many bug fixes after rc8.
