Change to a more recent version, like rc8?

Wel, upgrade works, but I thought 1.2.8 was a stable version, and at least is viewed that way in the Gentoo tree. Besides, I can't compile it with gtk2 and unicode because Amule 2 needs wxGTK 2.5, and I don't have those in my system!

Thanks anyway. Bye!

benjavalero, aMule works with wxGTK-2.4.2 and wxGTK-2.5.3. You only need 2.5.3 if you want to run amuled, the amule daemon. Otherwise, use 2.4.2, this is the officially supported version of wxGTK.
