I recognized the problem with completed downloads in a categoy that had no stopped or paused downloads which could be resumed. In such a case, simply nothing should happen. |

No. it must resume from other categories. The "from the same" is just an adition. |

It's about hard disk space, You know. I can have a category of files < 15MB with 100 downloads with few sources in it. There is no reason to pause some of that small downloads, neither source nor hard disk space capacity. But if 20 of them are completed, I do not want to have 20 more running 100 sources-downloads in my other 800 MB category. ? |

When "it must resume from other categories", the option should be named "try resuming in same category first", to be fair. |

So what should we do here?
a) Rename the option to "Only within the same category" and change the behaviour
b) Rename the option to "Try resuming from the same category first" only |
