of course turn off the auto update would work too, but is a workaround that I don't like. :-)

btw: where did you find this workaround in tfm?
had the same problem today again.
the were way to much new servers. normally the servers won't be added that fast.
again I had to login to my linux machine with a Xserver. I had to shutdown amuled, then start amule to delete some servers out of the servers list. after that remotegui continued to work again.
from time to time after deleting some server I tested if remotegui worked already. my number is 812. With 812 servers it workes. could be that I deleted some 200 before . so I think 1024 could be the magical frontier. (but only a guess)

There aren't even 30 servers online, let alone 812. |

Exactly that is the point. I delete the servers after 1 try automaticly. Nevertheless they are in the list.
It cought my attention that one server for example was in the list 22 times just with a different port. I guess I recive this information from other clients and as there are not too much reconnects, the servers are not checked. So they keep accumulating. And are given from one client to another. |
