| Summary | 0000873: CECSocket Invalid socket (uninitialized) | ||||||||
| Description | Hi I'm using amule 2.1.1 and latest cvs tarball on X86 and arm. having on both plattforms and both architectures the same problem. I compile only the daemon version. on the server side I get a "Invalid socket (uninitialized)" on the client side I get a "CECSocket error: Input/Output error". | ||||||||
| Additional Information | I belive the problem is in the interface to wxBase-2.6.3 probably an initialisation error in the wxBase-2.6.3 spec I found somthing about calling initialize in the constructor, but my problem did not disappear. Can you help? it would be a pleasure to offer more data or to help on amule coding or debugging. (I'm not too firm in c++ but in c im OK) | ||||||||

OK, Mea culpa! I finally found the bug. It was me with an incorrect password. BUT: BY THE WAY... I found out that the Server is destroying before it sends the negative response to the client... it's a strange desing. Somebody should fix this. I have some other plans right now... Just in case somebody is having the same Problem. Just enter a md5 password in the confingfile instead of plain text and view the log file if the md5 strings are equal. regards Markus |
