Summary | 0000342: Strange ICMP packets...
Description | Hello, here is what if find (many similar lines) in my router's firewall log : Time: 10:56:06 In : eth0 (<-- My Green LAN NIC) Out : ppp0 Proto : ICMP Source IP : 192.168.1.221 (<-- The IP of the computer who runs aMule) Source Port : 63436 (<--??????) Dest IP : 82.224.XXX.234 (<-- Someone else IP) Dest Port : 40001 (<-- This port is forwarded to 192.168.1.221 an used by aMule in TCP, but it's forwarded only when it comes from RED...) Moreover I have many other packet that crashes on my firewall, around aMule ports, when aMule is running, so I wonder if aMule sends good configuration informations...

aMule does not send ICMP packets. Your firewall is fooling you, or you have something seriously missconfigured on one of the boxes. |
