Does the same happen with 2.2.1 or current SVN?

In 2.2.1 (at least in my system) the issue remains in amulegui, but is "intermittent": The string inmediately at the right of the "Loading..." is switching continuously two contents: one appears OK and the other with more lenght has the same issue.

Using amuled and amulegui in two sepatrate computers:

amuled in a 32 bit PC (pentium-S 120 Mhz), amulegui in a 64 bit PC (intel core2 duo 6550)

Same problem in 2.2.2, but the two messages of different size appears corrupted. And the problem remains with the window maximized.

Seems the problem is that the status line has more length than the window, and then the messages at the left are writed one over the other.

Seems that depending the servet amule is connected, teh string is more o less long, and then it changes this issue.

The event message at the bottom-left get displayed over the information to the right if the window is horizontally shrunken.

Interestingly there seems to be some algorithm, which cuts of the event message at certain points, but eventually when it can't cut of anymore of the text it remains there and therefore overlaps the other text. Possibly the algorithm that does this is do to the fact that the event message is put inside a textarea, which automatically wraps the words.

One solution would be to make the event message disappear as there is no more room to show the text. This way the other information would be shifted outside of the window, if it's shrunken even more and the behaviour would look natural.

Perhaps someone has a better idea?

There's simply too much information here. Especially with ED2K activated and a long server name.
