Hello,
in Debian we have received this bug: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=577540 [^] ; it asks for leave completed files in the Transfers section even after restart of aMule.

I'm asking here for your advice: you can add a switch in the preference menu, or just declare it a wontfix bug, but it's definitely up to you to decide what's the outcome of this request :)

(0003468) sturedman (developer) 2010-08-07 21:36	Resetting completed downloads after restarted is wanted behavior (eMule behaves the same way, and also EDonkey2000 iirc). Also it would not be easy to change, since the download info is removed right on completion and the info is just kept in the GUI.
