It won't be maintained anymore: bugs and security holes will not be fixed.
Thus, amule-gnome-support shouldn't depend on GConf any longer.
Please, migrate to GSettings.
GStettings is the official GNOME replacement for GConf, and the GNOME
project
is porting all of its applications to it:

(0003642) GonoszTopi (administrator) 2014-09-15 13:49	Since we do not create the packages Debian distributes, we cannot do anything about it. The Debian package 'amule-gnome-support' does not use any aMule-provided files, instead it installs a Gnome schema file provided by the Debian packagers.
