0000315: too many opened files

Description

aMule crashes when the number of .part files overtakes 1000 (about).

At 931 .part files, all goes well.
When 100 files are added, here is what happens (french locale, sorry for inconvenience) :

/home/tmp/eMule$ amule > ~/.aMule/amule.log &
[1] 2405
GLib-ERROR **: Cannot create pipe main loop wake-up: Trop de fichiers ouverts

aborting...

[1]+ Abandon amule >~/.aMule/amule.log
/home/tmp/eMule$

(0000704) Kry (manager) 2005-03-08 17:10	There's a limit of 1024 files open on your system, and you're adding to that limit. Change it or face it ;) It's not an amule bug :)
