0000456: aMule crashes at startup with a "illegal instruction" message

(0001011) cinax (reporter) 2005-05-27 08:17	My PC is a Pentium 233 MHz with 64MBytes RAM; I'm using it via TightVnc. The "Illegal instruction" is the only thingI get, no other messages. I get it even if I launch amule with the -v option. I don't get it if I remove the wxGTK2 library: in this case it aborts complaining it can't find one of the wx libraries. If you need further info, ask me and I'll let you know.

(0001020) cinax (reporter) 2005-05-31 22:32	Installing the CVS version the "Illegal instruction" error disappeared and now it works but... after a few hours the CPU usage goes up to almost 100% and, apparently, downloads are stopped. For sure the GUI doesn't answer and the only solution is to stop amule and restart it. Again, if you need further information, let me know.

(0001204) Xaignar (manager) 2005-08-11 00:12	I'm guessing that the 100% CPU is related to the problems with the ClientUDP socket, so it should be fixed. If not, please reopen the bug. Cheers, Xaignar
