Now I tested aMule 2.2.2 compiled with debugging and without optimization.
Started aMule 2.2.2, searched, picked the first result as download, close the search list, and amule crashed. Here the backtrace:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Lenny is not stable yet. I dist-upgraded, also libgtk was upgraded. Now the problem is not any more. So it seems to be have been an Lenny-Problem.

Oh, no- happened again. But maybe we'll have to wait until Lenny is released to see if it hase something to do with aMule or with Debian packages.

(sorry for the attached images, I can't delete...)

This happen even for full 2.2.2 official release (still Debian, but here is sid).

It seems, tough, that only when closing the last tab of searches (if you have more than 1) this bug is triggered: I had 3 tabs opened, only closing the last one it crashed.

It might be something related to redrawn of "clean" search area.

Yes, I can acknoledge. Until You leave at least one search tab open, it's ok. But when closing the last search tab, aMule crashes.
Crash again with Debian Lenny with packages from 2008-08-21 and recompiled wxgtk 2.8.8 and recompiled aMule 2.2.2 source code.

I have the same problem here. Xaignar had fixed this recently, but somehow the problem came back. The worst is that it is random, it does not happen every time you close a tab. I am not sure that it only happens with the last tab.

In my computer aMule crashes if I do the following:

1- Connect to Kad (probably with servers happen too)
2- Search something
3- Mark the filtering button.
4- Type something to filter the results
5- When I uncheck the filtering button my PC freezes a second. If during this second I click the close button of the search tab, amule crashes.
