hum. i used that on gentoo... but now with slackware i meet the same problem with both 2.5.2 and 2.5.1, and with the cvs version it doesn't compile either, as i get some unresolved symbols error messages (_gtk_accel_group_detach is one, the other.. I can't remember)

i've it working with
- nearly the latest amule (cvs 20040907),
- a patched wxGTK-2.5.1 and
- GTK2! (2.4.3)

The compile problem is somewhat discussed on the net.
I adopted the patch from Jaroslaw Kruk (thx!) originally for wxGTK2.4.2.

well, the bug is still not solved... with wxgtk2.5.1 i meet some linker errors (a LOT), while with wxGTK2.5.2 the following is achieved:

perhaps you could suggest some configure options that i could add either to wxgtk or amule?

This is fixed in wxGTK as of version 2.5.3.
