Tho window position is not remembered, window size is here, tested on gnome and kde.

I'll try to spot the windows position saving.

We do not save the position ourselves, so I would surmise that it is gnome that does not allow aMule to reposition itself to its old location.

cardinal, does it happen with rc8 too? What is your screen resolution? Maybe aMule window is too big for the current resolution?

I got problem with systray.
On amule rc8 on FC3 but with new kde 3.2.2 from Fedora dev (it worked, better, before).
Notice every time I install a new rpm, gives me one warning on /usr/share/applications/alc.desktop, that the line with [fr] is not in UTF-8, so I delete it.

My problem:
First time after minimize, donkey doesnt appears on systray and have to kill process and restart aMule to see tha aMule window again.
Second time, right click on donkey of systray and the information menu of systray have grab characters and cant see all info.

sergiomb, I am using FC3 with KDE release 3.3.2-1.4.3.kde and aMule works fine in systray. Did you compile it with --utf8-systray option? You should open a separete issue for your bug, because it seems different from this one.

Sorry for the late reply.

Phoenix, my screen resolution is 1152 x 864.

I am now using amule version 2.0.0.rc7 on FC3 with Gnome.

The problem is no longer happening.

It appears to be fixed.

However, a similar problem, though less serious occurs when maximizing the amule window.

Not sure if this is related to my initial complaint.

When restoring amule from the Gnome panel notification area (systray) and maximizing the window, the window size is drawn a little out of the screen. This happens every time unless amule's window has been custom-sized.

Amule is now remembering window size when custom, however when the window is maximised, Amule draws a section of the window out of the screen.

I hope this makes sense.
